Afterwork Event for Vendors: Getting Ready for What’s Next on Amazon

ASK Nordkurve: Real Conversations, Real Insights, Real Impact

The ASK Nordkurve event was everything we hoped for and more. What began as a simple idea to bring vendors together turned into an inspiring evening of exchange, insights, and genuine connection.

A big thank you to all the speakers and everyone who joined us. We wanted to create a space where brands could connect and exchange ideas in an authentic way, and that is exactly what happened. The energy in the room spoke for itself. Some guests even traveled more than 500 kilometers to be there, which says a lot about how much people value real conversations and shared experiences.

The evening kicked off with Marc Sonnemann (Team Lead Retail Media & Content) from edding, who delivered a strong session on internationalization diving into the balance between local and global steering. His clear examples showed that there is no one-size-fits-all approach, and his sense of humor made complex topics feel accessible. That mix of clarity and lightness is something you don’t see often.

The fireside chat with Christina Schröder (Chief Digital Officer) from Helmut Lingen Verlag added real depth to the evening. Together, we explored what will matter most in the future and what might be worth leaving behind. Christina shared sharp insights into how digital transformation happens within brands and manufacturers, and what it truly takes to bring large organizations along on that journey.

The panel on Amazon profitability was another highlight of the evening. Marcel Hofmann (National Key Account Manager E-Commerce) from Coca-Cola, René Groll (Chief Digital Officer) from Alberts, and Miguel A. Strobel (Founder) from Watersky Digital shared how they approach keeping Amazon profitable while managing the pressure of annual vendor negotiations. The discussion was open, insightful, and received outstanding feedback from the audience.

The People Made It Special

Every event stands or falls with the people in the room. What made this one special were the genuine conversations, the openness to share, and the mix of new and familiar faces.

A big thank you goes to the ASK and Sascha-Juliot Köhler (Founder) for teaming up with us. Bringing our networks together made all the difference. This was not a one-time event. We are already planning what comes next.
