Last week, I joined Hamburg Media School for their AI & Innovation Day besides Carsten Maschmeyer (Investor), Marco Maas (Datenfreunde GmbH), Isable Lerch (NDR), Arthur Erdman (AI Startup Hub) and more.
My mission: To spark discussion and share insights on how Generative AI is shaping the future of business, content creation, and decision-making.
We at CATAPULT believe that sharing knowledge is essential — especially with the next generation of digital thinkers. That’s why we’re always happy to talk to young talents to explain and exchange ideas.
At Hamburg Media School, I offered students a look into what AI already means in the real world and focus on two topics:
And because we’re CATAPULT, we keep it real — no buzzwords, no fluff. We shared concrete examples of how Generative AI is already making a difference in practice:
But the core message wasn’t about tools. It was this: AI is not a shortcut. It’s a shift.
The session concluded with a key insight: While AI brings speed and scalability, responsibility and judgment remain human tasks. AI isn’t a replacement, it’s an amplifier.
And it’s up to us — as professionals, students, and leaders — to use it responsibly and creatively.
